EMDR Intensives
EMDR Intensives
Deep, focused healing: mind, body, and the parts within
You’re ready for real change, not more circling the same story. My EMDR intensives create the safety, spaciousness, and momentum to move what’s been stuck. We work with your whole system: the mind, the body, and the parts (ego states) that learned how to protect you.
I offer three formats: 90 minutes, 3 hours, and multi-day intensives (scheduled in 3-hour blocks). Each one integrates EMDR, somatic work, and parts/ego states so the relief you feel is both understood and embodied.
My approach (in plain language)
-
EMDR helps your brain reprocess what happened so it’s no longer running the show.
-
Somatic work helps your body complete stress responses through breath, gentle movement, grounding, and nervous-system regulation.
-
Parts/ego states work honors the different “you’s” inside—protective parts, hurting parts, and wise core Self. We befriend protectors, earn their trust, and only move forward when your system says it’s safe.
This isn’t about pushing through. It’s about listening, pacing, and partnering with your nervous system and your parts so healing lands and stays.
What this looks like
-
Gentle prep & safety
We set clear goals, orient to the room, and build resources (breathwork, anchors, containment). We check in with protective parts: what do they need to feel safe enough to let us work?
-
Parts-informed targeting
Instead of forcing a memory, we invite your system to lead. We map the memory network and ask protectors for permission to approach what hurts, at a pace your body can handle.
-
EMDR processing with somatic support
We use bilateral stimulation while tracking body cues (breath, posture, impulse). I’ll help you pendulate, touch the hard thing, then come back to safety—so your system doesn’t flood.
-
Integration & closure
We close each intensive by grounding in the body, offering appreciation to protectors, and capturing insights and practices to support you between sessions.
Intensively Supported
Intensive Treatment
Intensive options
90-Minute Intensive
A focused reset.
Ideal for one clear target (a recent trigger, a single memory, or a stuck belief). We do parts check-ins, brief EMDR processing, and somatic down-regulation so you leave steady and resourced.
3-Hour Intensive
Deeper, unhurried work.
We can follow a cluster of memories or a theme (grief edges, attachment injury, medical trauma). There’s room for parts dialogue, fuller EMDR sets, and embodied release, without rushing the landing.
Multi-Day Intensive (3-hour blocks)
Transformational momentum.
We meet for 3 hours per day across multiple days (e.g., 2–4 days). This format supports complex or long-standing patterns. Breaks between days allow natural integration while we keep the healing arc intact. Each day blends parts-informed EMDR with somatic regulation so your system stays engaged and safe.
Who this is for
-
You’re tired of stop-start weekly sessions and want continuity.
-
You sense there are parts of you pulling in different directions, and you want relief without overriding them.
-
You’re ready to heal the root, not just manage symptoms.
-
You prefer a structured, compassionate process that honors nervous-system capacity.
How we honor your parts (ego states)
-
We ask, don’t force. Protectors get a say.
-
We translate their concerns into practical safety (clear boundaries, pacing, choice).
-
We invite your core Self (the steady, compassionate you) to lead.
-
We celebrate every shift—cognitive, emotional, and somatic—as a whole-system win.
Aftercare & integration
You’ll leave with body-based tools chosen for your system (e.g., orienting, breath patterns, micro-movement resets, self-tapping, journaling prompts for parts dialogues). If helpful, we’ll schedule a brief follow-up to support integration after an intensive block.
Getting started
We’ll begin with a consultation to clarify goals, assess fit, and choose the right format (90-minute, 3-hour, or multi-day in 3-hour blocks). From there, we’ll map your targets, meet your protectors, and create a plan that feels safe, paced, and doable.
Ready for relief that lasts?
Let’s plan your intensive and give your system the time and space it deserves.
