Good Faith Estimate

In compliance with the No Surprises Act.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

You have the right to receive gives a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

I believe that EMDR Therapy and other forms of therapy are an important emotional health investment for many people.

EMDR Therapy is an evidence-based treatment supported by medical research.

The benefits of starting EMDR treatment include reduced symptoms, increased self-acceptance and the capacity to create healthier relationships.  Treatment may include a significant time and financial commitment.

Cost of treatment:
The cost of EMDR therapy is a standard rate of $100 per 50-minute session. You will receive a good faith estimate prior to services. Depending on your symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment recommendations, you may need between 12 and 30 psychotherapy sessions of 50 minutes each. At a rate of $100.00 per session the estimated total costs are between $1,200 and $3,000. We will continue to reassess your progress throughout treatment and will provide a new good faith estimate.
